A Lifetime with Horses

My journey with horses began over six decades ago, when I fell in love with them as a child visiting a university veterinary school. That early fascination led to a life built around horses—as a USDF gold and silver medalist, a breeder of Holsteiner horses, and a trainer of numerous Grand Prix competitors and national champions. Along the way, I’ve continued to learn, participating in the USDF Learner Judges Program and being invited to multiple FEI Trainers’ Symposia. This lifelong commitment shapes everything I offer as a coach, trainer, and mentor.

Building Excellence at AuxChevaux

For 25 years, I was the owner and head trainer of AuxChevaux Equestrian Center, where I trained and boarded horses across all skill levels. I specialized in breeding Holsteiner horses, including with my own stallion, Rapport. My expertise also led me to Wellington, Florida, where I spent four rewarding years selling top-tier horses bred and trained under my guidance.

Connecting Riders with World-Class Horses

Importing warmbloods from Europe has been another passion of mine, helping clients find the perfect horses for competition and breeding. My international network has connected riders to exceptional horses that have gone on to thrive in the sport horse world.

Coaching with Purpose

Helping riders thrive in the saddle has always meant as much to me as developing great horses. I’ve had the privilege of coaching people at every stage—from beginners to high-level competitors. Whether it’s teens earning national titles or adults achieving long-held goals, I’m proud to play a part in their journey.

The Trainers Who Shaped My Path

I owe so much of my journey to the wisdom, generosity, and high standards of the incredible horsemen and horsewomen I've had the privilege to learn from. This list is by no means exhaustive, and if your name isn’t included, please know the knowledge I gained from you is not forgotten—your influence continues to guide me in and out of the arena. Thank you all for the role you’ve played in my lifelong education.
